Job Requirements:
DCCA is looking for an experienced Testing Automation Engineer with hand on coding experience to expand our automation capabilities within our organization.
Candidates to have healthcare systems implementation experience, excellent communication and leadership skills, and expertise in leading client presentations. In addition, individuals to have rich experience in testing automation using multiple tools, expertise in developing automation frameworks and automation strategy, as well as significant experience in leading testing activities across multiple clients.
Location - Remote
Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop a testing automation strategy for a financial management system with complex automation requirements for one of our Federal clients, CMS
• Analyze existing frameworks and recommend best practices for maintainability and effective automation
• Maintain module-specific regression test suites and ensure they meet performance SLAs
• Hands on experience in building automated scripts that are CI/CD pipeline ready
• Set automation goals and establish measurable KPIs to demonstrate progress and ROI
• Align automation strategy with business objectives
• Provide mentorship to a team of testing automation specialists to design, develop, and execute testing automation solutions
• Collaborate with team to identify automation opportunities and prioritize initiatives
• Implement a test data management strategy for different types of testing
• Develop and maintain timelines for automation efforts
• Lookout for opportunities to reduce technical debt
• Ensure progress of test activities as per plan, adhering to milestones and meeting SLAs
• Investigate and diagnose problems, propose and execute solutions
• Keep up with the industry trends and employ new tools/techniques for effective test automation
Required Skills:
• 8+ years developing and implementing test automation solutions
• Experience of working with large-scale and complex implementations
• Experience in creating automation frameworks for API and UI testing
• Experience with creating testing artifacts on agile projects based on acceptance criteria and design documents
• Background in healthcare
• Expertise on multiple automation tools such as Selenium, RestAssured, Postman, Cucumber, Sauce Labs
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, TestRail, GitHub, Jenkins
• Excellent understanding of the Testing Lifecycle and the different types of testing such as Functional, Integration & Performance Testing
• Proven ability to understand existing Test Processes and Plans and identify improvements and efficiencies
Additional Requirement:
-Must be able to solve Java coding challenges during the interview.

The proposed salary range for this position in Maryland is 130,000 to 140,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
