Job Description:

The purpose of the Integration and Test engineer (Automation Test Engineer) position is to synthesize and define automated test processes for complex electro-optical and electro-mechanical systems. Integrate assembly level through system level into automated test stations and ensure that technical requirements are fulfilled.

Intern with broad theoretical konwledge. Works under the direction and guidance of team leads within standard processes for non-routine tasks. Communicates with contacts in own team to explain and interpret information. Works to achieve operaitons targets that impact team results.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform software and hardware development for automated test processes
  • Develop automated test plan, procedures and test cases
  • Execute automated tests and document results
  • Troubleshoot automated test stations and perform root cause analysis
  • Use software tools to perform software/hardware troubleshooting
  • Develop and deliver presentations to communicate test development activity plans and status to internal stakeholders
  • Follows processes in conformance with established policies and objectives
  • Participate and provide input to product design reviews to ensure design for testability
  • Support root cause analysis and correctionive action efforts
  • Support Operations in failure trend analysis and ensure failure trends are quickly and effectively identified and resolved

Qualifications:

To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $68,000.00 - $126,000.00 . This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including relocation stipend, 401(k), EAP, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
