Job Title: Software Developer

Pay Range: $45 to $70/hr
  • Support the development of implementing the Siemens OpCenter MES tool to implement paper batch records to electronic batch records and also rolling out the EIS OpsTrakker electronic form/electronic logbook solution. Development of this will allow the site to define fully customized electronic workflows to guide and document the manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with department leads and process owners, as well as operations leads, to gather both functional and technical requirements, ensuring that system design aligns with business goals. Design scalable and flexible software architectures, choosing appropriate technologies based on performance, security, and maintainability needs. Ensure solutions can scale as business requirements evolve.
  • Develop software solutions and automation tools to optimize processes and workflows, selecting technologies that best fit project needs. Ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure, validate performance, and prioritize maintainability for long-term support, using design patterns and best practices to build robust systems.
  • Utilized Power BI to design and deploy advanced, interactive dashboards and real-time data visualizations, enabling cross-functional teams to monitor KPIs, operational metrics, and production performance across various departments.
  • Develop reusable data models and DAX measures in Power BI to support scalable and consistent reporting across business functions. Implement incremental data refresh to optimize performance when handling large datasets, and integrate with enterprise data warehousing environments to enable efficient historical data analysis and reporting.
  • Design and develop end-to-end applications using Power BI to provide real-time insights into manufacturing operations, supply chain, and quality assurance metrics, significantly improving visibility and response time across departments.
  • Perform unit acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the functionality and performance of individual software components in alignment with business requirements.
  • Integrate data from diverse sources, including Microsoft SQL Server, OracleDB, and Snowflake API, ensuring seamless data flow and centralizing reporting for dynamic and reliable analytics.
  • Support the production, validation, and development environment of applications as a part of the infrastructure team and deploy the releases of upgrades to a software/web application.
  • Develop high-level and low-level architectural documentation, including detailed diagrams, design patterns, and technical specifications to support system development of the Siemens MES tool and integration.
  • Streamline reporting workflows by replacing manual Excel-based processes with interactive Power BI dashboards, reducing report generation time and improving data accuracy.
