Position: Software Developer
Location: Cambridge, MA
Length: 12+ Month Contract Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Seeking a software engineer with a focus on developing, integrating and testing mission critical flight software for a variety of applications. Development will include all stages of the development life cycle (prototype to flight ready software, as well as test software). Integration and test will include everything from unit testing, static and dynamic testing, integration and interface testing, debugging, and defect resolution. Qualifications:
• B.S. or a M.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. • Proven expertise in mission-critical software development for real-time systems.
• Proven expertise in the implementation of flight software from models and algorithms generated in various analytical tools such as MatLab.
• Excellent development and troubleshooting skills on embedded targets.
• Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, interfaces, and hardware subsystems.
• Mastery of high level development languages (e.g. C/C++).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge and experience with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review processes.
• Experience with in-circuit emulators, JTAG debuggers, and laboratory test equipment.
