Job Description

We are currently searching for a Senior Software Developer to join a small team of developers tasked with the design, development, and maintenance of Exceptional Innovation's media player application. 

If selected, you will be responsible for evaluating requirements and modifying existing software in order to meet the needs of the client, improve performance, or adapt our application to new hardware. You will work alongside our hardware engineering staff to ensure smooth functionality between our software applications and various set-top box hardware components. This will be accomplished by applying your industry specific knowledge (described in the minimum requirements below), scientific analysis, and embedded software development principals to complex situations. 

You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and debugging of error reports from internal staff and external clients and properly documenting fixes. ***Previous development experience with other media players or frameworks and set top box hardware is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field of study. 7+ years of professional software development experience with significant recent experience (minimum 4 years) writing code for set top boxes or other streaming related technologies.
