Your Role on the Team

This is a remote or hybrid role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to ownthedevelop andrelease operationsand infrastructurefor our additive manufacturing design platform, design and manage our software security approach,and contribute tosoftwarearchitectureand infrastructure-related features. You are/have:

  1. Implemented multi-tenant web app infrastructure
  2. Owned CI/CD systems and improved their build, test, and release reliability
  3. Designed and implemented cloud security controls for CUI data workflows
  4. Able to troubleshoot across the stack, including TypeScript/React/Node.js, Python tooling, and C++ dependency and build issues

Responsibilities

  1. Design and maintain Azure infrastructure for reliability,scalabilityand security
  2. Own and improve CI/CD pipelines for build, test, release, and deployment workflows
  3. Lead implementation of security architecture and controls for CMMC Level 2 internal use and customer CUI handling in cloud-hosted application
  4. Contribute to quality control by resolving build and test failures, improving pipeline observability, and reducing flaky execution
  5. Contribute code as needed in TypeScript and/or Python, and troubleshoot C++ build/dependency issues when they impact delivery
  6. Own desktop packaging and release for desktop application (e.g. using Electron)
  7. Establish and document operational standards and engineering best practices across DevOps, security, and release engineering

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field,5+ years related experience
  2. Deep knowledge of cloud platform infrastructure and architecture(Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable)
  3. Familiarity with compliance-aligned engineering for controlled data environments (CUI, CMMC, NIST-style controls)
  4. Expertise in infrastructure as code and environment automation
  5. Strong understanding of architecture principles for multi-tenant web applications
  6. Strong software development and debugging skills in TypeScript or Python
  7. Familiarity with C++

Desired Experience:

  1. Azure services and security tooling
  2. CI/CDpipeline engineering;e.g. CircleCI orAzure DevOps
  3. Containerization and image security practices (Docker and related tooling)
  4. Software supply chain security (dependency scanning, code signing, etc.)
  5. Desktop app packaging and release operations, e.g. using Electron
  6. Observability and reliability engineering practices (health metrics, logs etc.)
  7. Engineering software platforms and computational workflows requiring HPC
  8. Agile development methodologies and version control with git
