Venturi, LLC, a Chenega Company, has a challenging career opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer who will apply expertise in mission/software assurance, system architecture, and interface design. The selected candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and quality of hardware/software systems; contribute to architectural decisions; and design robust interfaces for seamless integration across Missile Defense System platforms.


Responsibilities
  • Participate in hardware/software engineering activities to include mission/software assurance, code reviews, static analysis, testing, and engineering reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide input to programs on software architectures that are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to software quality, security, and performance.
  • Ensure hardware/software engineering/assurance processes are acceptable and reports are assessed.
  • Provide technical guidance assessing objective evidence for hardware/software engineering.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in a relevant STEM Field
  • 12+ years of related professional experience
  • Active Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Missile Defense Agency experience
  • Knowledge of Agile Engineering Designย 
  • Knowledge of Digital Engineering Principles
  • Knowledge of the Missile Defense System (elements, products, and capabilities)
  • Successfully pass background and drug screening
