Through its affiliated nationally licensed third-party administrator (TPA), Careington International also delivers full-scale administrative services, including customer service, licensed enrollment, claims administration, individual and group billing.

We are open to candidates that reside within the Dallas, TX area but also outside of DFW within Texas, Arizona, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina, or Nevada ONLY.

We are based in Frisco, TX

We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer who is passionate about enabling a great member experience with emerging technologies to join our team. This position leads high-impact initiatives and drives innovation across multiple teams and ensures alignment with long-term business goals. You'll help identify issues with the current architecture and determine how to evolve the current architecture in an incremental manner. You will be hands-on with C#,.Net, Angular and will need Cloud Architecture knowledge.

Position Overview & Responsibilities:

  • Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
  • Translate and document business needs into technical requirements using deep dive sessions with business and technical teams.
  • Define standard development practices to follow and gate check development milestones for compliance.
  • Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
  • Improves operations by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes in policies and procedures.
  • Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment, participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Protects projects by keeping information confidential.
  • Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and support issues.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 5+ years of practical experience as a Full stack developer with .NET (version 8 or higher), Angular (version 15 or higher) and SQL.
  • Advanced knowledge of object-oriented concepts, design patterns and development processes
  • Grounded understanding of iterative development practices, including Agile, SCRUM, etc.
  • Experience developing test cases. TDD is a plus.
  • Experience with regulated application development (HIPAA, PCI) are a plus.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Technical knowledge includes: C#,.NET, SQL Server 2019 or newer programming (stored procedures, database design, etc.), TypeScript, Web Services, Angular, HTML, CSS, and Azure DevOps
  • Exposure building native cloud applications in Microsoft Azure cloud is preferred
  • Hands on CI/CD experience using Azure DevOps is preferred
  • Proficiency with Visio, Excel, and Project Planning tools a plus
  • Technical abilities include Software Design, Documentation, and Testing, General Programming Skills, Software Development Fundamentals, Software Development Process, Software Requirements.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree within Computer Science or related field
