KBR is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer to be a part of the team that supports the Department of the Air Force advanced air platform testing and rapid development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and debug highquality software applications with a primary focus on C++.
  • Build and maintain modeling and simulation software, ensuring reliability, scalability, and adherence to industry best practices.
  • Collaborate on software architecture and design, contributing to the planning and implementation of new features and system enhancements.
  • Write clean, efficient, and welldocumented code, following established coding standards and development processes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional team members in a fastpaced, agile environment to deliver highvalue capabilities.
  • Participate in peer code reviews, offering constructive feedback and supporting continuous improvement across the engineering team.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects to ensure stable and reliable system performance.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain applications in a containerized environment.
  • Support the creation and execution of test plans, ensuring thorough validation of software functionality and performance.
  • Stay current with evolving tools, technologies, and best practices in modern software development.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or Associates degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 3 to 5 years of programming experience; preferably with C++
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired:

  • Active Top Secret clearance
