Job description

About Virtasant
Virtasant is a global technology services company with a network of over 4,000 technology professionals across 130+ countries. We specialize in cloud architecture, infrastructure, migration, and optimization, helping enterprises scale efficiently while maintaining cost control.
Our clients range from Fortune 500 companies to fast-growing startups, relying on us to build high-performance infrastructure, optimize cloud environments, and enable continuous delivery at scale.
About the role
This role is for candidates based in Latin America only. Please do not apply if you live elsewhere in the world.
Our client is a US-headquartered multinational tech company focused on application performance monitoring and application security. Their software is being used all over the world by companies that are keen to map and monitor their apps, microservices, containers, and IT infrastructure running in the cloud (multi- or hybrid-), and hyperscale network environments.
For them, we're looking for a strong, hands-on Service Cloud developer/architect to support a high-priority hypercare effort and take the platform to the next level. This is an execution-focused role with immediate impact: stabilizing the platform, resolving production issues, and improving scalability.
What You'll Do
  • Jump in quickly to troubleshoot and resolve production issues (including SSO/integration challenges)
  • Burn down hypercare defects and stabilize the platform
  • Lead hands-on development across Service Cloud (not just design/architecture)
  • Improve technical quality, scalability, and maintainability
  • Work on core Service Cloud capabilities like case lifecycle, SLAs, Omni-Channel, chat, and notifications
  • Support portal development (front-end + back-end) and broader integrations (e.g., SAP, Cloudflare/WAF)

What We're Looking For
  • Strong spoken and written English level
  • Self-sufficient, strong contributors who thrive in high urgency environments
  • We're prioritizing experienced, hands-on developers who can own outcomes
  • Be based in Latin America

Must-Have Experience
  • Strong Salesforce Experience Cloud and Service Cloud experience (dev + config)
  • Deep Apex and solid object-oriented fundamentals (e.g., dependency injection, inheritance)
  • Ability to read/debug complex code and troubleshoot across systems
  • Hands-on builder mindset (not a pure architect or configurator)
  • Experience with LWC and core Service Cloud features

Nice-to-haves
  • Front-end experience (React, HTML/CSS)
  • Experience with support portals / UX
  • Exposure to AI capabilities in Service Cloud
  • Familiarity with Cloudflare or WAF environments
  • JavaScript depth is helpful but not a blocker

Why This Role is Exciting
  • Fast ramp and immediate contribution
  • Meaningful reduction in defect backlog
  • Improved platform stability and scalability
  • Ability to operate independently as a trusted technical SME
  • Long-term opportunity (no end date), with strong possibilities for career growth

Our recruitment process
  • Recruiter interview (30 min)
  • Technical interview (30 min)
  • Client Interview 1
  • Client Interview 2
  • Client Interview 3

We strive to move efficiently from step to step to make the recruitment process as fast as possible.
What we offer
  • Long-term, no-end-date Independent contractor agreement
  • Totally remote, full-time (40h/week) (but candidates must be located within Latin America)
  • Work hours - 8 hours, US Eastern time office hours preferred, other US time zones can be considered
  • Payment in USD, biweekly or monthly - your choice
