Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - UA Content Designer

Location: Vancouver, BC

Anticipated Start Date: September 2026

Contract Duration: 8 months

Work Hours: Full-time internship; 40 hours per week

Are you passionate about writing and helping others make sense of software and technology in their daily work? Do you have a desire to flex your writing and language skills to create people-centric user experiences?


If so, our Data & Analytics Design team is looking for motivated individuals to design and write help content, UX copy, and other user assistance content offerings within our data and analytics cloud services.


Our global design team is constantly in pursuit of fresh innovations with the most user-friendly and modern cloud and AI native experiences. Ideal candidates are data-driven in their work, strive to truly understand the needs of our users, and are excited to collaborate with our UX designers to craft a more usable journey through our products. Initiative and creativity are key, as is the ability to balance detailed writing work with strategic, long-term thinking. You empathize with the user and use your writing to help them accomplish their goals.

  • Research, map, and validate user journeys for our products with an emphasis of how language can increase adoption and improve onboarding
  • Create help documentation (both text and multimedia) in close collaboration with UX designers, agile development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders
  • Write UI texts and other UX copy to enhance the usability of our products
  • Define terminology that's simple, consistent, and conforms to industry standards
  • Proofread and edit content for usability, readability, and linguistic correctness
  • Ensure that all deliverables are of high quality, adhere to standards and guidelines, and use a style and tone appropriate for the target group and market
  • Collaborate with members of a globally distributed product development team
  • Participate in cross-department initiatives to improve tools, processes, and content
  • Adopt a data-driven approach to your work
  • Act as an advocate for an excellent user experience

 

What You'll Bring

Education: Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Human Computer Interaction, UX Design, Computer Science, or other related field

Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor's, master's or JD/PhD program.

Preferred skills and knowledge:

  • Excellent level of English (written and spoken)
  • Keen interest in new technologies (agentic AI, knowledge of HTML, XML, JavaScript, or any programming languages is an advantage)
  • Familiarity with AI tools and prompting techniques to support UX writing, content design, or documentation workflows (for example, using AI agents to draft, iterate, or explore copy variations) 
  • Ability to analyze the learning needs of diverse user groups
  • Knowledge of information architecture concepts
  • Willingness to quickly acquire knowledge in new areas and adapt to change in an agile product development process
  • Team player who seeks solutions to problems and can quickly translate ambiguity to clarity and action
  • Proven excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with all levels of an organization
