Key Responsibilities:
GWS Plugin Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend components of Google Workspace plugins that integrate seamlessly with Google Workspace apps and services.
API Integration: Integrate external APIs and services into Google Workspace plugins to extend functionality and deliver added value to users.
Quality Assurance: Write unit tests using QUnit to ensure the reliability and stability of backend code.
CLASP Tool Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in using the clasp tool to write and manage code in Google Appscript, enabling efficient development and version control.
Appscript Development: Utilize Appscript to create custom functions and automate processes within Google Workspace.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to ensure a cohesive and user-friendly plugin experience.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for backend code, including APIs and integration points.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• 6+ years of proven experience as a Backend Engineer with a strong focus on GWS plugin development.

• Strong experience with clasp (Google Apps Script command-line tool) and Appscript for Google Workspace.
• Knowledge of QUnit or similar testing frameworks for unit testing.
• Familiarity with API integration and web services, including RESTful APIs.
