Medtronic isseekinga motivated and detail-oriented Software Tools Engineer II to join our Cardiac Ablation Solutions Software team. In this role, you will play a critical part in enhancing and streamlining our software development, testing, and quality assurance processes. You will develop a variety of tools, scripts, and dashboards to support the team's workflows, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and quality throughout the product development lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, build, andmaintaincustom tools and scripts to support software development, testing, deployment, and maintenance processes.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, quality assurance, and technical leaders, to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

  • Identifyopportunities to improve existing tools and processes, driving innovation and efficiency across the team.

  • Generate automated reports and test protocols thatprovideactionable insights into software performance and quality.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree anda minimum of2years of relevant experience

  • ORMaster'sdegree witha minimum of0years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Medical device software development, IEC-62304and FDA guidance in a technical discipline, preferably software related

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach toidentifyingand resolving issues.

  • Experience working with tools like JIRA, Gitlab, Artifactory, and AWS, including API integration and automation.

  • Proficient in programming languages such as Flutter/Dart, Python, C++/C#or similar languages

  • Strong understanding of good documentation practices

  • Experience with software version control systems, such as Git

  • Experience with Docker and Linux

  • Experience with Agile development

  • Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial drive

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
