Job Description

Position Summary:
This job is responsible for designing and building SharePoint based business tools and applications deployed on a cloud and mobile environment.
This includes working closely with other team members, internal business process owners, business SME's (i.e. subject matter experts), business stakeholders and IT to design and implement, document the technical solution and help with knowledge transfer for long term sustainability within the team.
This includes:
Translating business requirements into application functional and technical specifications
Ensuring solution is designed & implemented successfully, to enable application reliability/ availability, application quality and performance requirements to support specific business processes/needs
Developing and maintaining advanced lists with big data volume, workflow, advanced search, SharePoint apps and deployment for mobile use, security/access, general administration on a SharePoint cloud environment
Perform detailed quality tests, integration tests and create relevant functional and technical documentation
Integrating solutions with Sales Force, internal SQL server databases, mobile apps and other Share Point sites

Roles & Responsibilities:
Proficient in designing, developing and implementing SharePoint based business tools and applications deployed on a cloud and mobile environment
Developing and maintaining advanced lists with big volume, workflow, advanced search, SharePoint apps and deployment for mobile use, security/access, general administration on a SharePoint cloud environment
Integrating solutions with Sales Force, internal SQL server databases, mobile apps and other Share Point sites
Deep knowledge of MS SQL Server as data source.
Experience using Agile practices Scrum, continuous integration, and unit testing to deliver solutions.
Ability to turn business requirements into implemented technical design and solutions.
Follow necessary quality assurance methodologies to ensure that the solution meets the expected performance and scalability requirements.
Must be flexible, be able to change priorities quickly, and handle multiple tasks concurrently Individual must be a self-starter and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
Minimum Qualifications Years of Experience:
7+ years of software development experience in a technology environment with experience/ skills comprised of the following:
5+ years of experience in designing, developing and deploying SharePoint based business tools and applications on a cloud and mobile environment
3+ years of experience developing and managing advanced lists with big data volume, designing & developing custom workflows, implementing advanced search, developing SharePoint apps and deployment for mobile use, security/access, general administration
3+ years of design and development of custom business applications and workflows
Experience integrating/interfacing with SQL server databases
Education:
A four-year degree in a technical/ business related field

Preferred Qualifications 

Optional preferred experience should include any one or more of the following:
Sales Force development
SQL Server database development using SSIS & TSQL procedures
Mobile app development and deployment on various devices/platforms
.Net application development
Optional preferred skills include any one of the following:
Sales Force development
