The selected candidate will intern with Raytheon during summer 2027 as part of the Raytheon Fellowship Program. About the Raytheon Fellowship Program: * Seeking students in their sophomore or junior year or seniors if pursuing a master's.
* Upon program acceptance, participants will be submitted for a national security clearance.
* Participants may be eligible to receive a $10,000 signing bonus, and an additional $10,000 signing bonus upon converting to full-time employee status post-graduation (payable within 60 days of employment and subject to all applicable withholdings).
* Participants will sign an offer agreement, committing to remain with Raytheon for a minimum of two years after becoming a full-time employee.

* Responsible for performing development, integration, test and documentation duties to ensure proper operation of hardware and software platforms.
* Integrate a wide variety of applications from various sources, integrate and ensure they meet performance standards for stability and utilization
* Develop software as necessary to integrate between components, perform new capabilities, to facilitate testing, etc.
* Adhere to accepted standards for development, including writing unit tests which provide a high percentage of code overage, participating in code peer reviews, conducting design reviews, and generating test plans to ensure maximum stability and quality of code Qualifications You Must Have * This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor's (or higher) degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field and will be at minimum Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Post Grad year by summer 2027.
* Software development experience with Java in a Unix/Linux environment
* Familiarity with agile development and version control systems such as GIT Qualifications We Prefer * Experience with scripting languages such as Python
* Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or Maven or GITLAB
