Job Summary:
TGW Logistics is a company specializing in automated material handling systems, and they are seeking a Software Project Manager to oversee the successful implementation of their software solutions. The role involves managing software delivery, maintaining client relationships, and collaborating with the software and system integration teams.
Responsibilities:
• Manages the successful delivery of integrated software systems into complex automated material handling systems.
• Maintains an active role in client relationships and facilitates sales opportunities.
• Interprets and communicates complex technical and commercial issues with customer.
• Develops specification documents, including functional specifications, interface specifications, network infrastructure requirements and specifications.
• Works with system integration team to define the interface points between subsystems.
• Leads onsite installation and commissioning of, and training on, software solutions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of three (3) years of software project management/leadership experience, or related.
• Familiarity with Microsoft .NET Platform and/or Java.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server – Version Control, work item management
• Understanding of Windows Server Environments with VM Ware
• Knowledge of hardware requirements definition and order (server hardware, peripherals, PCs, scanners, printers, etc.)
