Job Description

Position: Contracts Manager

Location: Raritan, NJ 

Duration:12+ Month Contract Position 

Responsibilities: Responsible for managing the development and execution of contracts and agreements. 

Ensures that policies and processes support the business best interest. Key responsibilities include strategic sourcing, risk assessment/mitigation, rate/cost reduction and terms negotiation, supplier performance and relationship management. Global IT category responsibilities include: software licensing (applications), application development and maintenance, professional services (including outsourced services both on and off shore), IT hardware, data center outsourcing, WAN/LAN (telecommunications networks) and mobile services. 



Qualifications

Qualifications:


Minimum of 10-15 years in the sourcing of Information Technology. Emphasis on software licensing, software development services and outsourcing (on and off-shore). 


Expanded skills/experience should include sourcing of IT hardware and telephony. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrated ability to develop contract management processes and agreement templates. Excellent ability to communicate effectively with Officers and Executives, both internally and externally. 


Excellent business/financial acumen, proficient in leading and setting direction for cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, influence and drive change at all levels of the organization. 


Demonstrated ability to understand the factors affecting the finances and/or operations of suppliers. Excellent global supplier management skills including ability to foster and leverage professional relationships. Ability to identify and solve complex contractual, process and operational business challenges. 


Licensure/Credentials: CTPE, CTPS, CPSM or JD preferred. Lean, Six Sigma or other relevant certification a plus.
