Description
RFGH is seeking a Coding Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Health Information Management (HIM) coding team, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant coding of inpatient and outpatient encounters. This position provides leadership, mentoring, performance management and quality oversight while supporting regulatory compliance, revenue cycle goals, and organizational performance.
Qualifications:
  • AHIMA, AAPC credential required, RHIT, or RHIA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of medical coding experience utilizing ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT/HCPCS.
  • At least 2 years of coding leadership, lead coder, or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of third-party payer requirements, 3M coding software, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills with a commitment to quality and staff development.

Status: Full Time 40, Salaried
Salary Range: $52,000-$97,000 annually based on relevant education, qualifications and experience.
