Job description

Job Summary:

The accounting/payroll assistant will provide support to all CLUB4 Fitness Accounting and Finance personnel as needed to meet all daily, per pay period, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting and payroll activities. 

Essential duties and Responsibilities

  1. Assist as needed with preparation of payroll twice a month and reporting, to include some updates and/or changes to HRIS/payroll information to ensure that the payroll processes appropriately
  2. Review and enter invoices for payment, post daily deposits, and recording various entries using financial software
  3. Assist and support accounting department with financial statements, budgets, and analyses.
  4. Enter receipts and supporting documentation into NetSuite
  5. Record monthly bank charges and recurring transactions
  6. Assist with monthly bank reconciliations
  7. Match receipts to credit card and bank receipt transactions
  8. Assist Accounting Department with other administrative and accounting tasks as assigned

Qualifications:
 

1.       Strong writing and oral communication skills.

2.       Attention to detail and accuracy; strong organizational skills.

3.       Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills/knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

4.      Associate’s degree in Accounting, a plus. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

5.       Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize various tasks.

6.       Able to maintain confidentiality of financial and employee data.
 

This is currently a full-time role that is eligible for benefits including (medical/prescription, telemedicine, dental, and vision) insurances.  Company benefits become available on the first of the month following sixty (60) days of service; the position will begin at 40 hours per week.  Participation in Vanguard 401(k) is permitted after six (6) months of service to those employees 21 years of age or older.  
The position is salaried, exempt based on relevant skills and experience.
