Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • ServiceNow certifications such as CIS-HAM, CIS-SAM, CIS-ITOM, or CSA preferred

Work Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow ITAM, CMDB, IT Operations, or a related enterprise technology environment
  • Hands-on experience implementing and supporting HAM Pro and SAM Pro
  • Experience with CMDB, Discovery, and/or Service Graph
  • Experience supporting asset lifecycle processes, governance, compliance, and audit readiness
  • Experience in retail, multi-site, or distributed operating environments preferred

Skills

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow ITAM architecture, including HAM Pro, SAM Pro, normalization, reconciliation, and lifecycle states
  • Strong knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, Service Graph, and CSDM concepts

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical owner for ITAM capabilities (HAM Pro / SAM Pro) within the ServiceNow platform
  • Design, implement, and evolve ITAM capabilities aligned to platform strategy and CSDM architecture
  • Align ITAM with CMDB, Discovery, and Service Graph to ensure a single, trusted source of asset data
  • Translate business and operational requirements into scalable, maintainable platform solutions while minimizing technical debt
  • Drive automation of asset lifecycle workflows and continuous platform improvement
  • Lead asset lifecycle processes from procurement through disposal, ensuring accuracy, auditability, and compliance
  • Define and enforce data standards, normalization rules, and governance controls across asset classes
  • Establish and support ITAM governance processes for audit readiness and regulatory compliance
  • Partner with Information Security and compliance teams to strengthen asset visibility and risk posture
  • Identify software license compliance risks and cost optimization opportunities across the enterprise
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for asset performance, lifecycle health, and compliance exposure
  • Partner with IT, finance, procurement, operations, and vendors to align asset strategy to business outcomes
  • Contribute to the ServiceNow platform modernization program, advancing ITAM as a foundational capability
  • Support alignment to CSDM and enterprise data strategy, improving consistency and quality of asset data
  • Help mature ITAM into a scalable, enterprise-grade capability supporting 325+ retail locations
