Job description

If you are interested in being part of building something special, this is the perfect position for you. Fit2Run is rapidly growing and is looking for runners and running enthusiasts for Full-time Assistant Store Manager positions for our Specialty Running Store located in Bradenton.

Retail experience a plus but having a love for running is a MUST!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist cleaning and organizing of inventory in backroom
  • Assist manager in keeping all footwear styles, insoles, and socks displayed and under the proper categories
  • Maintain general cleanliness of department, e.g.- keeping floor swept and mopped, footwear wall waxed, and dust shoe shelves
  • Ensure all footwear customers are measured, scanned, fit, and gait analyzed, and that all of the selling processes are performed.
  • Perform gait analysis according to Fit2Run procedures
  • Assist customers to the fullest of ability
  • Assist customers that come in with prescription pads- fill prescription according to podiatrists' recommendation. Reference manager for assistance.
  • If necessary, help customers with other department purchases, or lead them to employees in other departments
  • Always try to sell corresponding accessories with purchases, e.g.- socks and insoles with footwear. Also refer customers to all other areas of store in order to maximize sales.
  • Assist in keeping entire store clean
  • Follow all Fit2Run policies and procedures
  • Follow Opening/Closing checklists
  • Ensure all customers are being assisted
