Job Summary
We are looking for an assistant manager to join our team for our Ice Cream and Coffee Shop and also assist with adjoining Popcorn and Snack Shop.


Responsibilities: 

  • Scoop various flavors of ice cream into cones or cups, ensuring each serving meets the shop standards for size and presentation.  Prepare coffee and tea and serve to customers.
  • Pop a variety of flavors of popcorn and fill bags for sale.
  • Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle money accurately while providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving and seating areas, including wiping down counters and tables, sweeping floors, and disposing of trash.
  • Restock ice cream toppings, cones, cups, napkins, and other supplies, keeping the serving area fully equipped for efficient operation. 
  • Engage with customers, answering questions about flavors, ingredients, and menu items, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including setting up the serving area at the start of the day and securing all products and cash at night.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ice cream, toppings, popcorn and other consumables, keeping track of supplies that are low or if special orders are needed.
Qualifications:
