Job description

 

POSITION TITLE:    Mental Health Professional (MHP) - LCSW, CSW, PLMFT or PLPC                                       

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain assigned billable hours per week.
  • Participate in collaborative meetings with Rehabilitation Services staff, other agencies or community and natural supports as needed;
  • Be knowledgeable of and adept at child and adult mental health counseling;
  • Provide strength-based, solution focused, client-centered supportive therapeutic services in home and community based settings;
  • Be able, or willing to learn, to use computer interface to complete documentation for billing or other purposes as needed;
  • Document services provided regularly, concisely, and completely in accordance with clinical standards by office deadline.
  • Available for Supervision Meetings, trainings, and case management/staffing meetings as scheduled by Licensed Mental Health Professional;
  • Return phone calls and emails promptly.
  • Follow all safety rules.
  • Obtain all required continuing education hours as required by appropriate licensing board
  • Actively participate in all evaluations conducted by Rehabilitation Services.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A Mental Health Professional (MHP) must meet the following educational criteria:

  • A Master's degree from an accredited university or college in the field of:
    • Social Work,
    • Counseling,
    • Psychology or
    •  Sociology
  •  With one of the following licensures: PLPC, PLMFT, LMSW or CSW.
