About the Organization

At Family Social Work Center, our mission is to provide accessible and high-quality mental health services to individuals of all ages. We are committed to fostering a supportive and nurturing environment that encourages healing, personal growth, and resilience. Our outpatient mental health clinic specializes in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide variety of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related disorders. Using evidence-based therapies, we strive to deliver personalized care tailored to the unique needs of each client.

  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans with clear objectives and interventions designed to support client wellness.
  • Collaborating effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and holistic care for your clients.
  • Offering crisis intervention strategies, conducting risk assessments, and creating safety plans as necessary.
  • Facilitating engaging group therapy sessions, psychoeducational classes, and support groups to provide community and support among clients.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of client progress to uphold ethical and legal standards while using electronic health record systems.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in managing client documentation.
Preferred Experience

Along with the above qualifications, candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting will be given preference. A strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities is essential, as well as experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting.
