Job description

Role: Social Strategy & Community Manager
Location: Los Angeles (4 days in office)
Salary: $100,000 -$115,000
Company: Tacori

Overview

Tacori is seeking a Social Strategy & Community Manager to lead day-to-day social strategy, publishing, and community management across platforms.

This is a hands-on social role for someone who understands how to build a brand and grow an engaged community through thoughtful, platform-native storytelling. You will shape our channel strategy, develop strong creative briefs, manage our content pipeline, and ensure everything we put into the world reflects the level of craft, precision, and taste expected of a luxury brand.

We’re looking for someone deeply in tune with culture, audience behavior, and the evolving social landscape. You should have a keen visual eye, strong editorial judgment, and the ability to translate brand and campaign direction into compelling content ideas that creative partners can execute.

Key Responsibilities

Social Strategy & Execution

  • Lead and evolve social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, Reddit, and emerging platforms
  • Translate brand, campaign, product, and business priorities into channel-specific strategies and content plans
  • Identify relevant trends, formats, conversations, and cultural opportunities without compromising brand integrity
  • Build and maintain a forward-looking social calendar and content pipeline
  • Develop clear, inspiring creative briefs for internal teams, creators, agencies, and production partners
  • Partner closely with Brand, Creative, PR, Digital, and Merchandising to ensure social supports wider company priorities

Community Management & Growth

  • Own day-to-day community engagement across all social platforms
  • Respond to comments, DMs, mentions, and relevant conversations in a tone that reflects the brand
  • Build meaningful relationships with followers, customers, creators, retailers, and brand advocates
  • Proactively identify opportunities to deepen engagement, spark conversation, and grow our communities
  • Develop community-led ideas and programming that encourage participation, advocacy, and loyalty
  • Surface recurring questions, audience sentiment, cultural insights, and customer feedback to the broader team

Content Development & Creative Direction

  • Shape social-first content concepts that are distinctive, relevant, and aligned with Tacori’s visual and verbal identity
  • Write detailed briefs that clearly communicate the idea, audience insight, format, platform behavior, and required deliverables
  • Provide thoughtful feedback on creative development, ensuring content feels elevated while remaining native to each platform
  • Identify content needs and opportunities across campaign assets, product storytelling, creator content, behind-the-scenes moments, and reactive social
  • Maintain a consistent visual and editorial standard across channels

Copy & Publishing

  • Write clear, elevated, and engaging social copy aligned with Tacori’s voice
  • Manage scheduling, publishing, tagging, links, and channel hygiene across platforms
  • Ensure content is accurate, timely, and optimized for each channel
  • Coordinate approvals and keep publishing workflows moving efficiently

Performance & Optimization

  • Track channel, content, community, and audience performance
  • Identify patterns in what drives reach, engagement, conversation, and community growth
  • Use insights to continuously refine content strategy, formats, cadence, and platform approach
  • Prepare regular reporting with clear observations and actionable recommendations
  • Stay informed on platform updates, emerging behaviors, and changes in social best practices

Who You Are

  • 4–6 years of experience in social strategy, channel management, community management, or a related role
  • A strategic social thinker who also enjoys managing the details of day-to-day execution
  • Deeply familiar with Instagram, TikTok, and evolving platform behaviors
  • Experienced in building, nurturing, and growing engaged online communities
  • Able to develop strong social concepts and translate them into clear, actionable creative briefs
  • Brings a keen visual eye and understands what makes content feel elevated, distinctive, and right for a luxury brand
  • A strong writer with excellent judgment around tone, audience, and cultural context
  • Comfortable using social insights and performance data to inform recommendations
  • Highly organized, proactive, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Culturally curious, highly engaged with the social landscape, and quick to recognize relevant opportunities

Bonus

  • Experience in luxury, fashion, jewelry, beauty, or another visually led consumer category
  • Experience building communities on Reddit or other community-led platforms
  • Experience working with creators, influencers, agencies, or external production partners
  • Familiarity with social listening, publishing, and reporting tools
