Job description

Vote.Online, a new 501(c)(3) non-profit, nonpartisan voter engagement organization. Our mission is to register voters, provide simple and clear online voting information, and ensure more Americans cast their ballots nationwide.

Job Description: @Vote is seeking a creative, driven, and culturally in-tune Social Media Administrator to lead content efforts related to voter registration and civic engagement. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, with daily responsibilities that include creating and scheduling original content across Instagram, X (Twitter), and TikTok, all designed to engage audiences and encourage voter participation. • Develop, manage, and grow content across multiple platforms - especially Instagram, X (Twitter), and TikTok - with a focus on voter registration and civic participation.
  • Stay current with social media trends, algorithms, and platform updates to improve engagement and audience growth.
  • Create and edit compelling digital content (reels, TikToks, memes, graphics, etc.) that resonates with a broad audience and encourages civic involvement.
  • Monitor content performance, identify trends, and use analytics to improve reach, engagement, and overall effectiveness.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and direct messages, and help build an online community centered around voting and civic engagement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support voter outreach initiatives, awareness campaigns, event promotions, and organizational goals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work in-office at our Headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona.
  • Passionate about civic engagement and energized by @Vote's mission to increase voter participation and make voting information more accessible.
  • Familiarity with social media content creation and analytics.
  • Strong understanding of what performs well on Instagram, TikTok, and X, including video editing, meme culture, and trend adaptation.

"WOW" SKILLS:

  • Proven experience in social media management and/or digital marketing, preferably within a nonprofit, advocacy, civic engagement, or mission-driven organization.
  • Experience with community outreach, volunteer engagement, or public awareness campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of voter engagement efforts, civic participation initiatives, and digital outreach strategies.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and deadlines.
