Focused Mind Counseling is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This role is crucial in delivering essential social services to individuals and families facing a multitude of challenges. As a key member of our organization, you will work directly with clients to help them navigate their circumstances, improve their well-being, and connect with valuable community resources.

Work Environment

This position will be entirely remote, giving you the flexibility to work from home while being a part of a progressive and supportive team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify and evaluate clients’ unique social, emotional, and environmental challenges.
  • Develop tailored service plans that set specific goals, outline actionable interventions, and include methods for progress monitoring.
  • Provide individual and family counseling sessions to assist clients in overcoming difficulties in areas such as mental health, substance use, and family dynamics.
  • Offer crisis intervention, performing risk assessments and safety planning to ensure the well-being of clients in immediate distress.
  • Collaborate with clients to access appropriate community resources, ensuring comprehensive support that addresses their specific needs.
  • Engage in community outreach activities aimed at raising awareness of available services and fostering community engagement.
  • Participate in case conferences and team meetings, sharing insights and collaborating with colleagues to enhance service delivery.
  • Document client interactions and maintain accurate records in accordance with agency policies and ethical standards.

Qualifications
