Utah’s premier advertising agency has an opening that encompasses all of these things.
As a social media strategist at Saxton Horne, you’ll be responsible for working with clients and your teammates to plan, execute, optimize, and report on your client’s social media advertising plan on a monthly basis. You’ll need to communicate effectively and diligently with clients and team members at all times, generate leads and engagement through your writing, and craft high-quality graphics. You’ll not only work with clients daily, but you will be working with each team in the agency including traditional media, account management, and digital media team to ensure cross-channel marketing consistency and to ensure your client has the best strategy possible for their goals.

Desired Skills and Experience
You must be able to effectively communicate with clients on social media best practices, social media updates, and advertising plans. To succeed at this job, you’ll need to be a strategic thinker that can build an action plan and then carry out every step to fruition. We are a busy agency, so being able to multitask and juggle multiple clients/projects at once is a must. You must be a people person who can turn goals  into actionable items with results. You’ll be in the weeds of Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter all day,
every day. We don’t need you to just be able to write, we need you to be able to think strategically and innovatively, adapt quickly, and build awesome graphics and videos.


• Two to three years of account management/project management experience.
• One to two years of experience in creating social media content/advertising.
• Experience in executing paid social media marketing campaigns.
• Deep knowledge of the social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
• Ability to articulate social media innovations to clients and pitch the latest innovations in ties to how it’ll benefit their business.
• Strong ability to turn client goals into a social strategy and carry out tactics needed to make campaigns successful.
• Ability to research industry trends, write social posts/ads, build graphics, and edit videos.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in automotive not required, but a plus.
• Understanding of traditional advertising is a plus.
• Knowledge of AP Style is a plus.
• Works well in a fast-paced and team environment.
• Positive energy.
• Proficient with Adobe, Microsoft Office, and Apple products.

• Ability to work in an open layout agency setting.
• Required to be in-office during established business hours.
