As part of the Detox Center, you will work closely with medical staff, counselors, and community service organizations to provide coordinated care. The role is characterized by a dynamic work schedule, accommodating both regular business hours and occasional evening or weekend hours to meet client needs.

• Conduct thorough and compassionate assessments of clients, identifying social, emotional, and environmental factors affecting their recovery.
• Develop tailored service plans that include specific goals, evidence-based interventions, and ongoing progress evaluation.
• Provide individual and family counseling sessions, offering support and guidance as clients navigate their recovery journey.
• Assist clients in connecting with vital community resources, ensuring access to services that enhance their recovery.
• Deliver crisis intervention services, including immediate risk assessments and safety planning, to maintain client safety.
• Engage collaboratively with community agencies and stakeholders to coordinate comprehensive services for clients.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives that raise awareness about our services and promote engagement with at-risk populations.
• Attend case conferences, team meetings, and professional development training sessions to stay informed about best practices in social work.

This role specifically targets individuals struggling with substance use disorders and related social challenges. Your work will involve supporting men and women seeking recovery from addiction, as well as their families who are impacted by these challenges. By providing empathetic guidance and resources, you will play an integral part in fostering resilience and empowering clients to rebuild their lives.

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Current Washington State licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles, particularly as they relate to substance use disorders.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on cultural competence.

• Previous experience working in a social service agency or substance use treatment facility is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with diverse populations, addressing social and economic justice issues.
• Familiarity with community resources and a network of support services beneficial for clients in recovery.
