Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Blue Ribbon Social Work, you will:

  • Provide individual psychotherapy sessions tailored to address mental health concerns within the framework of substance abuse treatment.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to gather client information and collaboratively develop effective, evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Utilize clinically validated therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), specifically adapted to support clients in their recovery from substance abuse.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards while also tracking progress towards treatment goals.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate holistic care for clients, ensuring all aspects of their recovery are addressed.
  • Provide education and resources to clients and their families about mental health and substance abuse, empowering them to make informed decisions and access additional support.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and research to remain current with best practices in the field and incorporate evidence into your therapeutic approach.
  • Effectively manage your caseload to uphold ethical standards and meet clients' treatment objectives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals battling substance use disorders, often intertwined with a range of mental health challenges. You will engage with a diverse clientele, varying in background, age, and the complexity of their needs, requiring sensitivity, adaptability, and advanced therapeutic skills.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Florida.
  • A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, particularly in the realm of substance abuse therapy.
  • A solid foundation in solution-based interventions and best clinical practices.

Preferred Experience
