Job description

Purpose and Impact: Amentum provides mission critical intelligence, counterintelligence, counterterrorism, digital forensics, and threat finance analysis across multi-functional teams supporting a global mission. Our analysts directly support the USACIC mission of Army CI/CT support through expert language and intelligence professionals. We employ teaming concepts in a fast-paced mission cycle providing analysts with the ability to operationalize intelligence throughout the world in near real-time. Amentum is seeking experienced intelligence analysts to conduct research and analysis and produce finished intelligence products and responses to RFIs on foreign intelligence and technology protection-related threats to the US Army and the DoD worldwide. This role conducts analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature and provides all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements. The position directly supports the Army's Counterintelligence global mission through coordinating intelligence support. Work Schedule: Position is Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, with core hours between 9am-3pm daily. Essential Responsibilities: * Provide all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements. * Provide support to CI investigation through liaison with Counterintelligence Agents and other members of the DoD and intelligence community. * Provide record checks, data research and social networking analysis through the use of intelligence and law enforcement databases and search engines. * Provide in-depth research regarding biographical intelligence in order to aid investigations, support subject interviews, and case development. * Conduct research using social networking tools, digital mapping programs, and law enforcement database and research tools, to include Open Source (OSINT) and classified searches. * Analyze intelligence information to assess developments, trends, and threat implications through comprehensive knowledge of intelligence threat analysis to include forecasting and/or other analytical methodologies. * Analyze terrorist and FIE threats to US Army Forces, programs and operations. * Provide recommendations on techniques and innovative methods employed in threat analysis and protection. * Research and analyze military, political, economic, technical and other developments within assigned areas to conduct valid threat assessments. * Identify intelligence gaps and assist in the development of intelligence collection programs. * Advise team leaders and chain of command on intelligence findings. * Plan, coordinate, and synthesize research to prepare all-source intelligence products and responses. * Ensure products fulfill DA, DoD, and national - level intelligence requirements. * Brief intelligence assessments and positions to senior Battalion Army and civilian personnel. * Develop recommendations regarding the development and maintenance of SOPs for assigned tasks. * Conduct all tasks in support of operations under AR 381-20. * Assess information from the IC-wide reporting elements to de-conflict information, identify the value of reporting, assess whether the information addresses requirements and contribute to collection. * Produce technical analysis white papers and presentations in support of ongoing investigations to identify intelligence gaps and leads for investigations. * Analytical updates to the Command Group on major investigations. * Produce analysis white papers and presentations from historical investigations. * Conduct investigative trend analysis in order to allow Government leadership to focus investigative resources. * Produce analytical information reports from reviews of investigative and IC database searches in support of ongoing national security investigations and insider threat reports. * Produce analytical information reports from reviews of Law Enforcement database searches in support of ongoing national security investigations, FIE and insider threat reports. Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: Office environment with limited physical requirements, position does require mental demands to gather and analyze information to support intelligence and operations. Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): * A minimum of a bachelor's degree and * Experience as a civilian or military all source intelligence analyst and * Completed a foundational intelligence analyst course * Must have at least 14 years of relevant experience with six years of those years in one or more of the following areas: * Regional experience in one or more of the following areas: China, Iran, North Korea, Russia or functional experience in Threat Finance, Cyber Intelligence Analysis. * Experience as an All-source intelligence analysts in the planning, collection, and implementation of all intelligence disciplines across the full spectrum of operations that includes imagery, signals, measurements, human, and open-source data into information to support national defense. Candidate should have a proven track record of fusing multidisciplined tools and databases for all-source analysis production. * Master's degree in a relevant field and 12 years' relevant experience; with a portion of the experience within the last 2 years, or * Bachelor's degree and 14 years of relevant experience, or * US government clearance: Current Top Secret/SCI Clearance Required: * TS//SCI Minimum Education: * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 14 years' relevant intelligence analysis experience; with a portion of the experience within the last 2 years, or * Master's degree and 12 years of relevant experience.
