Job description

Technology & Analytics - The Builders and Translators

We are a 1,000-piece puzzle. Each of us is essential, interconnected, and intentionally designed. Together we create something powerful: media that matters, growth that lasts, and a culture we are proud to build.

At Attention Arc, we exist to restore intention to media. As part of our Technology & Analytics team, the Builders and Translators, you help transform raw media data into clarity, action, and measurable growth. This team architects the systems, reporting frameworks, and analytical models that unify performance across channels, helping the agency move smarter, faster, and with greater precision.

The Media Data Analyst plays a critical role in turning complexity into insight. This role blends analytical rigor with strategic thinking, partnering across Planning, Activation, Research, and Account teams to uncover performance drivers, surface opportunities, and help shape smarter media decisions. You will not simply report on performance. You will help define what performance means and what happens next.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You'll build the analytical foundation that helps our teams make more intentional media decisions through scalable reporting, thoughtful analysis, and clear storytelling.

Data Visualization & Storytelling
  • Design and maintain dashboards and visualizations that communicate media performance clearly and effectively
  • Translate large, multi-channel datasets into intuitive reporting frameworks that support decision-making
  • Distill campaign performance into actionable insights that drive optimization and strategic recommendations
  • Present findings in ways that simplify complexity and create alignment across teams and clients
Advanced Analytics & Data Management
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets
  • Leverage Snowflake to support scalable, efficient data analysis and reporting workflows
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability across reporting pipelines and dashboards
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and performance drivers across audiences, channels, and campaigns
  • Support the evolution of internal analytics processes, automation opportunities, and reporting best practices
Performance & Strategic Insight
  • Conduct analytical deep-dives across campaign performance, audience behavior, and media effectiveness
  • Evaluate full-funnel performance across the ARC framework: Attract, Resonate, Convert
  • Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations that influence media strategy and optimization decisions
  • Help teams connect performance data to broader business goals and client objectives
Collaboration & Partnership
  • Partner with Media Planning, Activation, Research, and Account teams to support strategic decision-making
  • Contribute analytics expertise to client conversations and performance narratives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to solve business challenges through data and insight
  • Support documentation, governance, and process improvements across analytics workflows
WHAT YOU'LL BRINGExperience & Technical Expertise
  • 2-4+ years of experience in media analytics, marketing analytics, business intelligence, or advertising analytics
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including querying, transformation, and performance optimization
  • Hands-on experience working within Snowflake environments
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting solutions in Tableau, Sigma, Looker, Power BI, or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of paid media KPIs including impressions, CTR, CPA, ROAS, reach, frequency, and conversion metrics
  • Experience working with large, multi-source datasets including platform APIs, CRM data, and web analytics
  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Python or R is a plus
Capabilities
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable business insights
  • Strong communication and data storytelling abilities
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
  • Collaborative mindset with strong cross-functional partnership skills
  • Curiosity and learning agility in evolving analytics and media environments
WHO YOU ARE

At Attention Arc, how you work is just as important as what you deliver. Our core competencies define the skills and behaviors that drive meaningful impact across the agency.

Credibility

You lead with expertise and curiosity. You ground your recommendations in data, insight, and thoughtful analysis while continuously strengthening your craft.

Clarity

You simplify complexity and communicate insights in ways that help people make confident decisions. You organize information thoughtfully and focus on what matters most.

Connection

You collaborate openly across disciplines and build trust through transparency, responsiveness, and shared problem-solving. You believe the best outcomes happen together.

Care

You lead with integrity and empathy, considering the people behind the performance metrics. You support teammates, communicate honestly, and contribute positively to the broader team.

Culture & Character

You embody The Arc Code in how you work every day:

  • All In - You take ownership, follow through, and bring energy to the work.
  • No Sidelines - You collaborate across teams without ego or silos.
  • Move With Curiosity - You ask thoughtful questions, explore deeply, and use data to learn rather than defend.
  • Truth With Heart - You communicate clearly, directly, and with empathy.

You understand that behind every dashboard is a decision. Behind every decision is a person. And every interaction is a chance to turn attention into impact.

WHO WE ARE

We're a media agency built for brands that value intention.

At Attention Arc, we combine deliberate media craft with technology designed to amplify it. We build trusted partnerships so every decision stays aligned with what matters most. Media doesn't fail because of technology. It fails when intention is missing.

That's why we exist.

To restore intention to media.

At 160 people across four offices in Phoenix, Durham, Irvington, and New York City, we occupy a deliberate sweet spot: big enough to handle major brands and complex business, nimble enough to move quickly, make decisions, and drive impact.

Our culture is shaped by our values:

  • All In - we show up with intensity and ownership
  • No Sidelines - we collaborate without ego or boundaries
  • Move With Curiosity - we ask why, explore boldly, and learn fast
  • Truth With Heart - we communicate with honesty and empathy
OUR COMMITMENT TO INCLUSION

At Attention Arc, we believe people do their best work when they feel they belong.

We value different lived experiences and perspectives and actively create space for those voices to shape our work. We are committed to building an agency where people feel seen, supported, respected, and empowered to contribute meaningfully.

Because when people feel heard and trusted to step forward, we all move forward together.

WHAT WE OFFERCompensation

Our estimated salary range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000, based on experience, expertise, and alignment to the role.

Compensation packages are thoughtfully benchmarked and designed to support equitable growth across the organization. Growth at Attention Arc is driven by performance, progress, and potential, not simply tenure.

Benefits Include
  • Flexible Paid Time Off
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision plans
  • Competitive Parental Leave
  • Hybrid work model with in-office collaboration
  • Mental health support
  • Annual agency contribution to 401(k)
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)
  • Commuter benefits and corporate discounts
  • Carrot Fertility and family-building support
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Casual work environment, team events, and community-building opportunities
LOCATION

We operate on a hybrid, in-office model designed to foster collaboration, mentorship, and hands-on learning. Employees are expected to work from the office three days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Candidates must reside in and be able to commute to one of the following office locations:

  • Irvington, New York
RIGHT TO WORK IN THE US

You must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. At this time, we are not sponsoring or providing assistance with obtaining work authorization.
