The Behavioral Wellness Center, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. You will work closely with school administrators, educators, and other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive support system for students. • Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions to students, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to their specific needs.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and compliant documentation of client interactions and treatment plans using the AWARDS electronic health record system.
• Coordinate with school personnel and central intake teams to effectively manage caseloads and address any emerging concerns regarding student well-being.
• Conduct evaluations and monitor interns in accordance with performance standards, facilitating their professional development through oversight of their responsibilities.
• Prepare and submit timely intern performance reports, ensuring compliance with all pertinent agency policies and state regulations.
• Participate actively in clinical supervision meetings and training sessions to enhance professional skills and adhere to evolving therapeutic best practices.
• Engage in crisis intervention and provide clinical consultation as required, either face-to-face or virtually.
• Plan, organize, and participate in recruitment events for interns, ensuring a pipeline of qualified candidates aligned with our organizational goals.
• Collaborate on the implementation and evaluation of clinical program objectives, contributing to ongoing quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate educational workshops and training sessions for interns and partner universities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and county regulations.

In this role, you will primarily serve school-aged children and adolescents facing a variety of emotional, behavioral, and social challenges. This therapeutic setting demands a deep understanding of child development, as you will tailor your interventions to meet the distinct needs of students and their families. Your supportive role within the school environment aims to foster resilience and improve overall mental health outcomes for young clients.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline.
• Must possess an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• Proficient in providing telehealth services and familiar with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
• Reliable access to high-speed internet and a conducive home office setup for providing virtual therapy.

• Experience working in a school-based setting or with children and adolescents is highly preferred.
• Previous involvement in training and mentoring interns or students in mental health fields will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records, particularly the AWARDS system, will ease the documentation process.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 122,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
