Job Title: Business Development Manager

Compensation: $50,000 – $70,000 Base Salary + Commission Structure
 
About Us:
Admiral Security is a leading, licensed, and bonded security agency based in Atlantic Canada. We specialize in providing top-tier security solutions, including physical guarding, investigations, and advanced technology services such as Video Monitoring as a Service (VMaaS), alarm monitoring, and Mobile Surveillance Units (MSUs). We are currently in a phase of rapid expansion and are looking for a driven and strategic leader to help us grow our footprint across Canada.
 
The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to lead our sales initiatives and drive the expansion of our service lines and products nationwide. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business, managing a portfolio of recurring revenue, and leading a high-performing team. You will work closely with our marketing department to align strategies and execute campaigns that capture market share.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Expansion: Drive the development and sales of Admiral's service lines and products (including VMaaS, MSUs, and alarm monitoring) across Canada
  • Client Acquisition & Pitching: Prepare proposals, deliver presentations, and pitch to large clients and prospects
  • Conferences & Networking: Represent Admiral at industry events to build brand awareness and generate leads
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage sales professionals and account managers
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work with marketing to align campaigns and lead generation efforts
  • Revenue Generation: Build and grow a strong RMR and AMR portfolio
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong client and partner relationships
  • Full-Cycle Sales: Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales/business development experience
  • Security, technology, or managed services background preferred
  • Experience leading sales teams or account managers
  • Strong presentation and proposal development skills
  • Strategic and collaborative mindset
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and results-driven
  • Willing to travel across Canada
  • Technical knowledge of monitoring/security systems is an asset
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is a strong asset

Principales responsabilités
  • Expansion des affaires : Diriger le développement et la vente des services et produits d’Admiral (y compris VMaaS, MSU et surveillance d’alarmes) partout au Canada
  • Acquisition de clients et présentations : Préparer des propositions, effectuer des présentations et présenter nos services à de grands clients et prospects
  • Conférences et réseautage : Représenter Admiral lors d’événements de l’industrie afin d’accroître la notoriété de la marque et générer des opportunités d’affaires
  • Leadership d’équipe : Superviser et encadrer des professionnels des ventes et des gestionnaires de comptes
  • Collaboration stratégique : Travailler avec l’équipe marketing afin d’aligner les campagnes et les efforts de génération de prospects
  • Génération de revenus : Développer et faire croître un solide portefeuille de revenus mensuels et annuels récurrents (RMR et AMR)
  • Gestion des relations clients : Maintenir des relations solides avec les clients et partenaires
  • Ventes complètes : Gérer l’ensemble du cycle de vente, de la prospection jusqu’à la conclusion des contrats
Qualifications
  • Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience en ventes B2B ou en développement des affaires
