Love Sports? Enjoy Working with Kids? Join Our Team!
The Norwalk Parks and Recreation Department is seeking enthusiastic individuals ages 14 and older to join our team as Youth Soccer Officials for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 soccer seasons.
We're changing things up this year! Rather than recruiting separately for each season, we're hiring officials for the full soccer year. Applicants who are available to officiate both the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 seasons will be given preference, although individuals available for only one season are still encouraged to apply.
This is a fun and rewarding opportunity to stay active, build leadership and communication skills, earn extra money, and help create a positive experience for young athletes.
Officials will referee games for students in 1st-2nd, 3rd-4th, or 5th-7th grades, communicate game rules with coaches and players, and work alongside our on-site Facility Supervisors to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. Previous officiating experience or experience working with children is preferred, but not required-we'll provide the rules and guidance you need to be successful.
