Job description

Position Summary Nashville Soccer Club is seeking energetic, reliable, and knowledgeable coaches to support the delivery of its Youth Soccer Programs. This role focuses on camps, clinics, grassroots programming, Academy pathway programs and coach education initiatives across the Nashville community. The role is centered on player development programming within the Youth Soccer Department. Coaches will represent Nashville SC while delivering high-quality soccer experiences that are fun, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate. This position is part-time, with flexible scheduling based on program needs, including evenings, weekends, and seasonal peak periods. Strong performers may be considered for expanded responsibilities or future full-time opportunities within the club. This is not an academy coaching position. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and age-appropriate coaching sessions at camps, clinics, and grassroots programs.
  • Implement Nashville SC Youth Soccer curriculum and session plans across all youth programming.
  • Create a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for all participants.
  • Support event operations including setup, check-in, and breakdown of sessions.
  • Serve as a club ambassador, maintaining professionalism with players, parents, and partners.
  • Assist with coaching education sessions and mentorship initiatives when required.
  • Provide feedback on player development and program delivery when requested.
  • Ensure all safety, risk management, and safeguarding standards are followed.
Qualifications
  • Previous coaching experience in youth soccer (recreational, grassroots, or club level required).
  • Passion for working with children and developing players of all ability levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
  • Reliable transportation to program locations across the Greater Nashville area.
  • US Soccer Grassroots (or equivalent) License or higher (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience working in a youth development environment (Rec, Club, Academy or camps).
  • Background in player development models.
  • Ability to be active for extended periods (standing, running, demonstrating drills)
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 30 lbs
