As a speech pathologist at Charter House, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating and treating residents in the Short-Term Rehabilitation Center with communication disorders and/or impairments including dysphagia
  • Participating as a member of an interdisciplinary team
  • Establishing augmentative/alternative communication systems for patients

*This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship; Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have a MS or MA degree in speech-language pathology.

License/Certification

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is required.
  • Current State of Minnesota Department of Health Speech-Language Pathology license is required.

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience evaluating and treating adults with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing impairments.
  • Experience working within senior housing is preferred.

Compensation Detail

$37.33 - $54.90 / hour Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.

Primarily day shifts with potential for evening shifts. The orientation for this position requires two weeks of full-time, 8-hour day shifts: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
