Job description

We are seeking a part-time, afternoon Speech Language Pathologist to join our team! You will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement treatment plans for speech and language disorders
  • Incorporate evidence based practices into the therapeutic setting
  • Utilize standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of communication disorders
  • Establish treatment goals and objective with clients and communicate them to the parents/caregivers
  • Document treatment plans, SOAP notes, and progress reports
  • Update patient progress and share with caregivers
  • Include parents in sessions of their child, regularly
  • Provide after-school therapy hours, in-person at our clinic

Qualifications:

  • Certification in the State of Maryland as a Speech Language Pathologist, CCC-SLP
  • 3 years or more of previous experience working with pediatrics in speech pathology
  • Ability to build rapport with children, parents, and coworkers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive and patient demeanor
