Job description

At Verde Clean, we're dedicated to creating clean, healthy, and sustainable environments. As a Day Porter, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and welcoming atmosphere of our facilities. Position Details
  • Schedule: Tuesday and Friday, 4pm to 9pm
  • Pay: $17/hour

What You'll Do: As a Custodian, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming space for everyone. Key responsibilities include:
  • Cleaning & Maintenance: Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and counters. You'll also clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
  • Restocking Supplies: Keep restrooms stocked with essentials like toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. Ensure dispensers are filled and monitor supplies across the facility.
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
  • Safety & Security: Identify safety hazards and report them to the supervisor. Maintain a secure and safe environment for building occupants.
  • Customer Service: Provide courteous, helpful assistance to staff, visitors, and fellow team members, creating a positive and welcoming environment.

What We're Looking For:
We're seeking someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and a team player. To succeed in this role, you should have:
  • Experience: At least one year of janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Ability to use cleaning equipment and knowledge of safety protocols. Must be able to work independently and interact courteously with others.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 25 lbs. Must be comfortable using basic cleaning tools and equipment.
