Position : Cloud engineer associate
Location : Mclean, VA(Hybrid) - Locals only
Duration : 6 to 12 Months
Max Rate: 60 On C2C
Visa : H1B, USC, GC
Exp: 5 years USA
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Data platform team that maintains the Client's infrastructure.
  • Must have experience in Snowflake, Jenkins (deploying infrastructure), SQL and Python. Dremio is highly preferred.
  • Python used for deploying solutions to support Snowflake and Dremio.
  • Nice to have knowledge/experience with AWS, CloudFormation, JDBC, ODBC, Keychain, HashiCorp Vault, CyberArk, PingID and Active Directory.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the current infrastructure.

Must Haves: 2+ years of Snowflake. SQL, Python, Git and Jenkins
Required Skills:
  • Experience with Snowflake.
  • Stored Procedure, SQL performance tuning, JDBC / ODBC
  • Proficient Python programming skill.
  • Git version control and Jenkins pipeline.

Good to have:
  • Experience with Dremio.
  • Experience with Keychain, HashiCorp Vault, CyberArk, PingID and Active Directory.
  • Experience with AWS (CFT, S3).
  • Experience with deployment and supporting production systems.

Soft Skills:
  • Knowledge of application development lifecycles, & continuous integration/deployment practices.
  • Proficient in Agile Software Development methodology, processes, and practices.
  • Good skill in communication, documentation, abstraction, and presentation.
