POSITION SUMMARY

Entry-level or experienced instructor responsible for teaching the fundamental skills of skiing or snowboarding in a safe, engaging, and supportive environment to teens and adults (aged 12+). This role involves providing clear instruction on basic techniques, assisting students in building confidence on the slopes, and ensuring a fun and educational experience. Our instructors demonstrate proper form, promote safety practices, and adapt lessons to accommodate varying ages and abilities.

    EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

    Key Responsibilities

    Availability (Required)

    • Must work holiday periods:
      • Nov 26–30 | Dec 19–Jan 4 | Jan 16-18 | Feb 13-15
    • Must be able to work at least 2+ days/week
    • Must be able to work 20+ shifts minimum throughout season

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Must maintain a current SafeSport certification or complete SafeSport training by the assigned deadline (paid for by the employer)
    • Teach ski/snowboard lessons as assigned
    • Observe all applicable safety standards
    • Provide exceptional customer service
    • Assist in general operation of all ski school activities
    • Provide information and answer questions about the resort to guests
    • Shovel/snow removal when needed
    • Set up and take down of Ski School staging areas
    • Operate of conveyor belts
    • Complete all required paperwork: Class cards, time sheets, incident reports etc.
    • Attend assigned trainings
    • Assist in preparing lesson plans for upcoming lessons
    • Perform other related tasks as necessary
