Job description

North Atlantic Snow is looking for experienced and dedicated Seasonal Snow Field Managers to join our team for the upcoming winter season.
The Seasonal Snow Field Manager is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating crews and executing snow and ice operations across assigned site(s), ensuring properties are serviced safely, efficiently, and to company standards. We operate throughout Seacoast NH, Southern NH, Southern Maine, and the North Shore. Positions are assigned based on where candidates live and operational needs.
  • Season: October - April
  • Schedule: Requires ongoing availability throughout the winter season for planning, staffing, training, meetings, and storm preparation. During winter weather events, extended and irregular hours are required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Pay Rate: $30 - $35 per hour, depending on experience

What You'll Do:
  • Lead snow and ice operations across assigned site(s), monitor service quality, and ensure properties are serviced to company standards
  • Coordinate crews, equipment, and call sheet to ensure proper staffing and coverage
  • Plow and operate snow removal equipment as needed during events
  • Respond to service tickets and communicate issues or delays
  • Conduct interviews, onboarding, and training for seasonal employees, including training on properties, routes, equipment, safety procedures, and required apps
  • Complete between-storm responsibilities, including attending management meetings, staffing coordination, equipment and supply checks, reporting needed repairs, and site prep
  • Enforce company safety and operational procedures and communicate updates to the team
  • Build strong relationships with on-site customer contacts

What We're Looking For:
  • Strong understanding of the snow and ice industry, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with changing weather conditions
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred, with the ability to effectively lead and manage field teams
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate all equipment within assigned area
  • Strong technology aptitude and ability to master multiple apps
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme cold, snow, ice, and wind
  • Valid driver's license and DOT Medical Card
  • MA Hoisting License and OSHA 10/30 certifications are a plus, but not required
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to climb ladders and enter and exit vehicles and equipment
    • Ability to operate vehicles, machinery, and snow removal equipment
    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods as needed
    • Ability to sit and drive for extended periods during snow events
    • Ability to lift and carry 30-50 lbs as needed
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in field environments

Salary Description
$30 - $35 per hour
