The Airport Attendant, under the direct supervision of the Assistant Airport Manager, performs semiskilled work to include fueling, towing, and servicing aircraft; sales, concierge transactions and customer service; airport maintenance functions include performing and recording inspections of grounds, facilities and vehicles, foreign object debris (FOD) removal, mowing and snow removal.

Starting pay: $20.04 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age

  • Valid state driver's license and acceptable driving record required

  • Customer service experience preferred

Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional customer service, time management and communication skills

  • Skills in the use of common airport equipment such as aircraft tug, aircraft tow bars, fuel truck, stationary fueling equipment and ground power unit (GPU)

  • Ability to learn specialized aviation terminology, procedures and practices to operate in a restricted environment involving active runways, taxiways and aprons

  • Ability to work safely in an airport environment

Work Schedule:

24-28 hours per week

Saturday 10hr shift - hours will vary

Sunday 10hr shift - hours will vary

One day during the week 6-8hr shift - hours will vary
