Job description

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate all snowmaking equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Operate all vehicles, including snowmobiles, in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform basic snowmaking equipment maintenance
  • Work on the production of snow to create the best skiing surface for our guests.
  • Creates and maintains top quality snow surface of manmade snow.
  • Set up, tear down, and maintain snowmaking systems.
  • Manufacture snow which meets or exceeds established quality standards.
  • Set up guns and hoses as directed on the mountain.
  • Monitor quality of snow produced; make adjustments to snowmaking equipment as necessary.
  • Responsibility for checkout and return of all small tools to original locations
  • Report any malfunctions or needed repairs of operational problems to the supervisor immediately.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate situations and concepts to other employees
  • Able to work extended hours outdoors
  • Must possess valid driver's license
  • Good organizational and mechanical skills
  • Must be able to operate snowmaking equipment safely
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions
  • Self motivated and able to satisfactorily perform tasks without supervision
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds
