What you get to do as a Full-Time, Plumber at Busch Gardens Williamsburg
You'll provide the knowledge, experience and expertise necessary to ensure our plumbing runs - and flows and drains - smoothly. You will:
  • Maintain, repair, replace, and/or install plumbing, piping, and plumbing fixtures related to city and non-potable water and sewage throughout the park
  • Be responsible for the interior and exterior of park, as well as main sewer lines, building sewer lines, drains and clean-outs, grease traps/pits, manholes and lift stations
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and solve most problems with minimum supervisor
  • Adhere to safety and handling procedures as well as state and federal regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

What it takes to succeed:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have at least (1) one year of prior onsite plumbing experience.
  • Valid state driver's license and ability to obtain a company driver's license
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints and/or drawings
  • Knowledge of Sloan and Zurn flush-o-meters, Chicago and Zurn faucets and other brands
  • Knowledge of main and secondary supply/shutoff valves for city and non-potable water
  • Ability to properly use appropriate hand and power tools (i.e., Spartan drain and sewer snake, the Mustang jetter, etc.)
  • Installation skills with PVC piping and galvanized pipe
  • Experience working with chemical and hazardous wastes
  • Excellent communication and math skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to lift 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Able to work in all weather conditions and temperature extremes
  • Available to work varying shifts/hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Cross-trained in other maintenance fields preferred
  • Plumbing license a plus

Compensation: 19.50 - 25.00 USD
