A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOTEL FRONT DESK AGENT

As a Hotel Front Desk Agent, you are the face of hospitality! You are the very first impression each guest has as they walk through our doors. With a friendly attitude, you greet each guest and assist with check-in or check-out. You enthusiastically register guests and assign rooms, accommodating special requests whenever possible. Using your top-notch communication skills, you speak with guests over the phone to make or adjust reservations.

You keep the front desk area clean and presentable for our guests. Always meticulous, you make sure that all billing is accurate. You are sure to handle cash, credit cards, and checks responsibly according to our policies and procedures. As needed, you provide positive resolutions to guest concerns. Meeting guests and helping them have the best experience possible fills you with great satisfaction!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working at a hotel
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time

Experience working specifically with Hilton is preferred but not required. Computer skills would be a plus. Can you effectively prioritize multiple tasks? Do you have excellent communication skills?
