Job description

SMT Mydata Machine Operator sets up, operates, and maintains Mydata (Mycronic) pick-and-place equipment to place components onto PCBs

Key duties include component loading, troubleshooting, quality inspection, and meeting production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation: Set up and run SMT pick-and-place equipment (Fuji, Mydata).
  • Component Loading: Properly load components and ensure accurate placement on PCBs.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve machine jams, misfeeds, and placement errors.
  • Quality Control: Inspect final products, ensuring they meet production standards.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance and calibration of SMT machines.
  • Documentation: Maintain production records and logs. 

Key Requirements

  • Experience: Prior experience with SMT/Mydata machinery is usually required.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints and electronic schematics.
  • Tools: Familiarity with Screen Printers and Reflow Ovens.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
