Job Description
Build high-performance RF/Microwave interconnect solutions! Teledyne Storm Microwave, located near Chicago, IL, has been a trusted provider of advanced cable assemblies for defense and telecom markets since 1978. Join our team and help deliver precision-engineered products that meet the highest industry standards.
What you'll do
  • Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations under close supervision.
  • Assemble units such as power supplies, modules, chassis drawers, cable harnesses, and PC boards.
  • Solder and de-solder through-hole and SMT components using soldering iron and hot air techniques.
  • Install and remove discrete components (transformers, resistors, capacitors, etc.) on printed circuit assemblies.
  • Assemble connectors, perform interface gage measurements, and shrink marker sleeves and strain reliefs.
  • Check mechanical length of cables and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Read and interpret documents and drawings accurately.
  • Lift and move parts, bins, and boxes as needed.
What you need
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Soldering experience or MIL Standard Soldering Certification (preferred).
  • Basic math skills and 1-2 years of related experience (preferred).
  • Strong hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees) (required).
