Job description

Adecco is currently hiring experienced SMT Operators to support printed circuit board assembly lines for a family-owned company in Nampa. This is a hands-on production role responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment used in the assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBs). Ideal candidates will have previous SMT manufacturing experience and a strong understanding of quality standards within the electronics industry.
Pay: $20-30/hr. + DOE
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm
Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate SMT production equipment, including Screen Printers, SPI systems, Pick-and-Place machines, Reflow Ovens, and AOI equipment.
  • Load components into feeders and verify proper materials are used for each production run.
  • Read and interpret setup sheets, work instructions, assembly drawings, and production documentation.
  • Monitor SMT processes to ensure quality and production goals are met.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on SMT and production equipment.
  • Print solder paste and support PCB assembly for a variety of component sizes, including fine-pitch and BGA packages.
  • Identify component types, package sizes, and manufacturer markings.
  • Inspect products and report non-conforming materials or quality concerns.
  • Follow ESD, IPC, and company quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of SMT manufacturing experience.
  • Experience operating Screen Printers, SPI, Pick-and-Place, Reflow Oven, AOI, or similar SMT equipment.
  • Working knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, and J-STD-001 standards.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform basic maintenance.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
