Job Description – 1st Shift SMT operator
Immediate opening for an experienced SMT operator. This individual will be responsible for setup, operation and maintenance of SMT processes and equipment under guidance of the Production Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
  • Setup of SMT and related equipment
  • Read and understand process documentation
  • Produce and submit 1st piece for approval
  • Operate process equipment effectively to produce consistent high quality
  • Inspect own work, detect defect trends and maintain high quality levels
  • Hand placement of components
  • Maintenance of SMT and related equipment
  • Complete maintenance and process documentation
  • Work closely with AOI to identify and resolve quality issues

Qualifications:
  • Must be computer literate, able to type and comfortable working with menu driven equipment software
  • Capable of completing assignments with minimum guidance
  • Dependable and efficient with strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of J-STD/IPC standards
  • Knowledge of component identification
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
     
  • 2+ years SMT, preferably with MyData equipment.
     
  • Certified IPC Specialist and/or proven ability to meet qualifications.

Pay Details: $27.00 to $32.00 per hour
